It’s been said that computer
is smarter than man
and someday robots
will be the ones with the plan.
Well, man never factored in
what computers would pick up;
all man’s bad habits
runneth over in the cup.
Tell me again
just how smart they are
and I’ll show you proof
that man’s smartest creation
is bumbling and aloof.
Just like man,
in ways not entirely fun,
my printer spat out pages
when I only asked for one.
So smart technology seems
but ego it has gained;
it counts no higher than one
when other numbers remain.
